  8. Störtebecker says:

    Ahoi! Greetings from Germany.
Pirates all over the world boarding parliaments. ARRRR

  9. Right on, it is time to do something.

  10. Mike says:

I was afraid to send in my application for fear of my name being associated with software and music piracy. This runs contrary to my job and raises questions of “professional ethics” which are applied to me through employment.

But… if I have to be afraid to be a member of a political party in Canada, and the laws of the country aren’t enough to protect me. The big media empires have certainly become too strong. This is serious.

So I sent in my application.

  11. rob.s.brit says:

@Mike: Membership is completely private. If you don’t tell anyone you’re a member, nobody but you and us will know :)

  12. Werner T says:

Its about time . All it will take is one member to be elected, or a large grass roots movement. All parties whether in majority or not in this country can have some influence in the decision making process. Believe me other parties take notice when a new political party comes around signing up members. New members just don’t materialize, they either come from established parties, or are new voters who can see a choice finally. That scares the establishment. You have my support for now, but please don’t take it lightly or for granted. One of the reasons the other parties become tainted.

  13. Brandon R. says:

Vive la RĂ©volution! I am now a member of the party, with my filled out form in the mail.

  14. J. Bourne says:

    Form is in the mail.
Can I be appointed to the senate when we win.
