Important Membership Information

You are receiving this e-mail because you are registered as a member. Some were registered from the early days by expressing interest in the party or joining during one of our membership campaign. Good news! We will be introducing membership for life for anyone who are currently a member and any new members who sign up. This means you don't have to worry about annual membership fee of $10 from now on or whether you are still a member for missing a payment.

If you don't want to be a member or wish to have your name removed, please e-mail [email protected]

With the eternal membership option, we still need donations to keep us afloat. Running a successful campaign depends on the amount of money we have. You can always donate through our membership site my.pirateparty.ca at https://my.pirateparty.ca/civicrm/contribute/transact?reset=1&id=2

Donations of up to $400 are eligible for a 75% tax credit.

Press Releases

We have had 1 press release since our last newsletter:

Policy Development Update

The Party's Political Council has been hard at work for the last several months reviewing policy proposals for inclusion in the 2015 Election Platform. We will soon begin presenting the draft policies to the membership to be voted on with the aim to have the completed platform done by the start of 2015.

If there is something that you feel we should include as policy there is still time to bring it forward. Please post a topic on the Members Forum in the Policies section. [Here]
