The Party's Political Council is currently looking at several policy proposals related to defence policy and would like to request advice from any current or former members of the Canadian Armed Forces or other individuals knowledgeable about Canadian defence policy.

Pending By-elections in Need of Pirate Candidates * Trinity-Spadina (Toronto) Called for June 30th! * Scarborough—Agincourt (Toronto) Called for June 30th! * Whitby—Oshawa (Ontario) * Fort McMurray-Athabasca (Northern Alberta) Called for June 30th! * Macleod (Southern Alberta) Called for June 30th! The Party's Political Council has been hard at work for the last several months reviewing policy proposals for inclusion in the 2015 Election Platform. We will soon begin presenting the draft policies to the membership to be voted on with the aim to have the completed platform done by the start of 2015.
