I love the cojones on these Swedes.

Citation
The party has announced today that they intend to use part of the Swedish Constitution to further these goals, specifically Parliamentary Immunity from prosecution or lawsuit for things done as part of their political mandate. They intend to push the non-commercial sharing part of their manifesto, by running The Pirate Bay from ‘inside’ the Parliament, by Members of Parliament.

They got balls that's for sure... More so than your typical politician.

Just curious if Sweden has it set up so you cant sue the government, if so this is doubly awesome.

Knowledge will forever govern ignorance; and a people who mean to be their own governors must arm themselves with the power which knowledge gives.

The terrorist threat in Sweden has been building for years. The New Vikings, as they're calling themselves, are set to rape and pillage their way down the eastern seaboard of the United States. The threat posed by this new Axis of Medieval is now too great to ignore, and effort must be taken to cut it off at the head.

I'm a viking Tongue

The Internet is made of wires/cats/tubes and what's legal is legal. This is a brilliant move, unless they use up all the bandwidth... of course maybe the government provides bandwidth for political parties... in which case more power to them.

I wish the Pirate Bay/PPoS had a set of fully legal torrents, I'm sure there's stuff that's just as amazing as the proprietary stuff floating around the public domain. Why should we dwell somewhere where we're not wanted when we can build our own thing!
