I see victoria having a good 20 members, and there doesn't appear to have been a meetup yet. I would like to set up a quick familiarization with the other island members, tenatively the middle of august, and cook street village starbucks.

I would expect no adgenda at this point, and would be very informal

I would be up for that. I joined the Pirate Party last month. We really need to form up in Victoria, fund raise and get candidates for ridings in the region.

I wouldn't want to get ahead of ourselves. As it stands, we seem to have only 20 members, and at this point, I'm just hoping for a measure of organization. Facebook event is up, and if it looks like it might be a go, will send something to the party facebook page setting it in stone.

It was good to see a small but dedicated turnout tonight. I am just going through the forums to see whether there are other local Twitter feeds and if so, I will start one for Victoria so we can both stay in touch and reach out.

Wish I had seen this earlier, but I was up island on a camping trip anyways. Would love to meet up with fellow party members in Victoria area at some point. I've followed the twitter account so hopefully someoe will post in there if another meetup is proposed.
