Per Party Policy Table
« on: March 24, 2011, 08:54:07 AM »
I would like to see a table listing about 10 different Policies (specific if possible) on a left hand column that Pirate Party inclined people favor and would like to see enacted, and a top row of party symbol of parties which have seats in Parliament (CPC, LP, NDP, BQ) as well as the GP and Pirate Party, and for each policy/action/proposal is a row indicating where each party stands (Yes, No, Maybe, N/A, N/R)

Yes: Clearly in favor (ex: Green check symbol)
No: Clearly against or indications they do not favor (ex:Red "X")
Maybe: Appear favorable based on some comments/indications but not clearly in favor (ex: blue "?")
N/A: Not available at this time (ex: grey "?" or "N/A")
N/R: No Response or avoids answering (ex: orange "?" or "N/R")

It would be helpful information.

I agree, this would be helpful in determining who to vote for since the Pirate Party is not running in my riding.

The Canadian Coalition for Electronic Rights suggests that all of the opposition parties were opposed to Bill C-32 (http://www.ccer.ca/bill-c-32/opposition-parties-agree-copyright-bill-c-32-is-flawed-to-its-core) but it's normal for opposition to mock disagreement with anything the ruling party puts out, and then doing a 180 after the election.    It would be great if a more in depth evaluation of the parties stances on Copyright, Patents, Net Neutrality, Privacy, etc. charted out.
