All right, the meeting will take place on the Legislature grounds on the south side of the fountain just off Assiniboine Ave. I'm sorry I couldn't find someplace warmer, but central, inexpensive, and open is a tough sell. It's supposed to be a nice sunny day, high 10º, so I hope it won't cause too much in the way of hardship.

The meeting starts at 4 pm and should last 2-3 hours. Please feel free to bring friends, and I hope to see you there! I will also have tshirts available for sale for $19.99 if anyone is interested in getting their hands on one of those.

It turns out that the by-election is on November 29th, apparently I got it mix-up. Harper had until October 27th to declare a date for by-election or else Election Canada will decide for him
