At this general meeting, I would also like to discuss limitations to be applied to the position of Federal Clerk ( http://wiki.pirateparty.ca/index.php/Federal_Clerk ).

As a second item, I would like to move for the adoption of the completed Clerk Quality Guide ( http://wiki.pirateparty.ca/index.php/Clerk_Quality_Guide )

Having received the newsletter, there is an item contained that needs to be added to the agenda for this meeting: the party's official platform. I don't know what the status via the Federal Council currently is on this document, but at the very least and update on the progress of the formation of this document should be issued during the meeting. Ideally the document is done and will be distributed for review prior to the meeting so party members can vote on approval of the official platform.

We will also need to update the internal election bylaws to conform with the CEA in leadership races - this does not need to be done for the by-election to replace Daniel though. Someone should move that be referred to the Constitutional Refinement committee as well.

Even though the by-election will happen after we are registered?

Yes, because the CEA applies only to candidacy and leadership races. As far as I remember, there is no provision relating to internal directorship races.
