The link above is from election Canada, is refresh every 83-88 seconds to provide the latest voting result from Winnipeg North once the voting is close at 8:30pm (Winnipeg time of course) tonight.

My prediction for todays result is:
1st: Kevin Chief (winner)
2nd: Kevin Lamoureux
3rd: Julie Javier
4th & 5th: Jeff Coleman~John Harvie (tie)
6th: Eric Truijen
7th: Frank Komanarski

When confronted with a problem: an open-minded person would first observe, analysis and act with a strategy solve to the problem.
However, a close-minded person would retort to brute force, tantrums and even hysterias when confronted with a problems

Not too shabby. That gives us something to build on, for sure. I was hoping beyond hope for a third-place finish, but we'll get there in time.

Edit: The Elections Canada site shows 94 votes to us now.

That is very impressive considering this is a new party. The green party won by recognition. If the effort is put in by the next election it should be in the bag that the PPoC is in the top four.

A showing in the top 3 would mean a serious paradigm shift in the voters from the usual Trio of Liberal/Conservative/NDP. Although the green party has been around for years and only manages to pull 0.7% seems to indicate people are starting to get pissed off at copyright.

Well, political rhetoric aside, that's the worst showing I've seen from the Greens in the last decade or so.
